Artist's Description
Here is a painting I completed of Dublin city in 2019 this painting took several months to complete and was one of the most challening paintings that I have ever done. It started by taking a series of reference photos over two days and then taking them back to the studio and setting out the composition. The main focus being the fantastic Liberty hall building which has been an iconic part of the Dublins Sky line for as long as I can remember with the more modern Dublin Spire in the distance capturing the main focal points of the city.
